This brush gets a lot of use in my kitchen. I use it to add oil or butter to my cookware. It hasn't scratched my expensive cookware set. I love that the metal detaches from the silicone for easier clean up which surprisingly is very useful. Very pleased and love the price!

Saw an ad for silicone glue brushes a while back but they seemed a little expensive for what they were. Found this much cheaper basting brush and thought it was worth a try. It works pretty well for gluing. The bristles may be a bit more flexible than would be ideal for a really stiff glue, but for common wood glues (Elmer's, Titebond slow set, etc.) it does the job. You can rinse off the brush, or just wait for the glue to dry and then peel it off.

These are great to use for any regular basting needs, but I bought these in different colors to use with kids so they could 'paint' frosting onto cookies to decorate. They are small enough for toddler hands and the 'bristles' are thin but densely enough packed to give good coverage. Definitely worth it!
