The pie beads work just fine, but I wanted to note that these do not come in a container like the information above says. I got the 11 oz beads. Perhaps, one of the other sizes comes in a container, but mine did not. A little disappointing as I now have to find a container for them. But the beads themselves work fine.

They work great. Do remember to put them on foil or parchment paper so they don't stick to your pie crust. Take the parchment paper & weight off when almost done. Then cook pie crust a little more to brown it up.
