This is a good brush because you don't have to worry about those brush hairs getting on your meat when you brush.

I reported this photo as being incorrect when I received the item in March of 2011. The photo accurately represents the one I had purchased previously. The item I received has a gray brush area and is less substantial than the earlier version.That stated I like the brush (both versions) the bristles are not so long that they splatter nor do they hold too much liquid. I wanted two because I use it multiple times a day, usually just for olive oil on cookware but occasionally for meat or veggies, and liked to have a fresh one if the dishes weren't done yet. I keep it on a silicone spoon rest and the residual oil alone is usually all I need to prep a non-stick omelet pan.
