I usually like Wilton products, I really do. So when I finally decided let's upgrade from a fork to a real pastry blender, I found this one. Big mistake. Only two reasons why, but big enough for me to dislike this item immensely.Issue one - the tines are wire, not blades. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but you want to be cutting through the butter, shortening, etc. Dull wire just squashes the fats.Issue two - tines too close together. OK, if these were blades maybe it would be OK. But having so little clearance between them and being dull, well, using a plain old fork works a lot better than this thing.My suggestion, purchase any pastry blender with blades and not wires and you will save lots of time and frustration.

This is the best pastry blender ever. The handle fits very well and I love the easy clean blades. I found that the price on amazon was BETTER than in any retail store.

Had been wanting a pastry blender, so glad I picked this one. Love the cleaning clip!!!! It is great the way you can slid it to remove dough on the tines. The 1st time I was cleaning it I thought I had broke the clip, but, it snaps apart for easy cleaning. If you are looking for a pastry blender this is the one to get.
