These brushes are awful! The brushes don't retain their shape and the bristles fall out all the time, which is a big problem if you're using them with melted butter because they're the same colour and you can barely see them! I do not recommend these at all!

This basting brush pair are made of inferior bristles and I do not encourage anyone to purchase the Good Cook Classic Set of 2 Pastry / Basting Brush.

These brushes are horrible.. after one wash by hand with warm soapy water (as per the directions on the packaging), the bristles got split ends. They also smell disgusting, like animals! Nowhere on the package does it say that it's made of real animal hair, but based on my experience it seems like they are. Ew! I won't even use them. Worthless!
